How does the technology work without a filter?


Answer
PARC’s device carefully balances multiple hydrodynamic forces to separate suspended particles, without a physical filter, as the fluid traverses a curvilinear channel. Particles separate from the fluid and form a concentrated suspension band at a stable location near a sidewall of the HDS channel. The waste band is directed into a separate stream from effluent as the liquid exits the channel.
